Job Description for Committee Member

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR COMMITTEE MEMBER

(MEMBERSHIP OFFICER)

  • Ability to use computer and Microsoft Office Software.
  • Ability to use MMS system to update Members details on State Database.
  • Must complete the Tobi Course as per State recommendation. (Training Office Bearer Instructions).
  • Assisting with New Member Application Forms and recording same on database and forwarding to District and State for approval.
  • Deceased members listing and updating Next of Kin records.
  • Correlate and report Membership flows.
  • Reporting to Members, Committee, District monthly Membership movements.
  • Spending at least 9 hours a week in Office.
  • Keeping Index Cards up to date. (Backup to computer).
  • Assisting with all Office work when required.

(COMMUNITY LINK OFFICER)

  • Ability to use computer and Microsoft Office Software.
  • Using Database program Microsoft Access.
  • Must complete the Tobi Course as per State recommendation. (Training Office Bearer Instructions).
  • Assessing Application Forms for Community Link.
  • Researching Deceased Members details for applications.
  • Organising Plaques to be made for applicants.
  • Placing and processing orders for Community Link Projects.
  • Must have a Blue Card Working with Children Check.
  • Assist with office duties when not doing Community Link.
