The Ghost Soldiers
The Ghost Soldiers was a project completed by the Men's Shed from Bribie Island. The "Ghost Soldiers" Derek and his team from the Men's Shed should be very proud of their work and achievements.
The Soldiers are sculptured of chicken wire. These Soldiers will be on Parade Remembrance Day and ANZAC Day Services.
In attendance at the Dawn Service was approx 900 people. The March and the Main Service saw approx 2,500 spectators.
The Catafalque Party was supplied by B Sqn 12/16th Hunter River Lancers.
Our Guest Speaker was Major Chris Flear OC B Sqn 12/16th HRL. Major Flear also took the Salute.
David Atchison was the MC for the Dawn Service and Main Service.
There was also a great participation from 4 Schools, Banksia Beach School, Bribie Island State Primary School, Bribie Island State High School and St Columbus School Caboolture.
